Soiree Musicale literally means “an evening of chamber music”— music written to be played in intimate settings. The Lorraine Boccardo Black Box Theatre is the ideal setting for you and your family to come and enjoy the spectacular sounds of the piano, violin, viola and cello played together. Imagine jaws lined with six-inch teeth that could kill and consume a deer in one bite. Place these jaws on an elephant-sized body, and you’ve constructed the ultimate killing machine. This is Tyrannosaurus rex (AKA, T-Rex). Tyrannosaurs symbolize dinosaur ferocity, size, and power. Not all dinosaurs were large, so what distinguished dinosaurs from other animals? And was T-rex the ultimate killing machine or just a large scavenger? How did T-rex use those rather small forelimbs? How fast could it run?…
