Movie in the Park & Ice Cream Social

Meet at Veterans Park for a wholesome family ice cream social & movie that everyone will enjoy.

Lion’s Club Breakfast (Cash Only)

Come and enjoy a delicious breakfast of Ham, Eggs and Pancakes in the Veterans Park from 7 AM – 10:00 AM on Saturday morning prepared by our own Washington Utah Lions Club. Funds raised are to help Washington City community service projects, scholarships, and sight programs. Accepting Cash Only. Our Mayor Kenny Neilson may even serve you personally.

Cotton Days 5K

The 2019 Cotton Days 5k is a family fun run down the Virgin River Trail starting at Sullivan Soccer Park.  Registration fees: $25 for the first family member, $15 for each additional family member (up to 6 people).
Cotton Days 5k Packet Pickup’s Friday, April 26th 2pm-8pm ask for Katy at the Washington City Community Center. Please bring ID.

Cotton Days – Parade

Parade lineup is from 7:30-8:30 am, Saturday, April 27th. The parade will start
promptly at 9 am. Lineup instructions, map and entry number will be emailed prior
to the date of the event. Line up will take place on 300 E. Prizes for Mayor’s
Choice Award and Best Themed Award.

Cotton Fest

Car Show

Come join Stan & Carmen Snow, DATS Trucking and Ernie’s Too! for a free Car Show-N-Shine! Follow the parade down to Nisson park and enjoy FREE hot dogs & root beer (while supplies last) and get entered for a drawing at noon for FREE gas! No entry fee to enter! Tractor Pull

Dixie Power Kite Festival

Welcome! The Dixie Power Kite Festival is here again at our new location Dixie State University Encampment Mall. The Festival aims to promote reading as a habit and encourage students to engage in family-oriented physical activity. On the day of the event, qualifying students earn a high-quality kite or book for their reading efforts. Entrance to the festival is free!

The Dixie Power Kite Festival is designed to promote reading as a habit and encourage students to engage in family-oriented physical activity. Qualifying students earn a high-quality kite, book, or $10 voucher/ticket to be used at the Festival for their reading efforts. Also, contributions are made to the Washington County School Foundation for distribution to schools most actively involved in the kite festival based on attendance.

Dickens Christmas Festival

THE SIGHTS AND SOUNDS OF 19TH CENTURY LONDON COME ALIVE AT THE DICKENS’ CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL

This Festival is not just another craft show, but a unique and unusual entertainment and shopping experience. Olde English shops, hundreds of period costumes, fortune tellers, orphans, royalty, and the “real” Father Christmas all combine to offer our guests a Christmas experience like no other!

The Festival is known for its unique gifts and quality merchandise. Shoppers come to The Dickens’ Festival for that special treasure. Join us as the streets of Olde London come to life!

FATHER CHRISTMAS WILL BE AT BOTH SHOWS FOR THE DURATION OF THE FESTIVAL WITH BREAKS AS NEEDED!

St George Streetfest

Located in the Heart of Downtown St. George, Utah

on Tabernacle Street and Green Gate Village

Local arts, bands, vendors, and food, quality activities and entertainment for all ages!  The event takes place the first Friday of the month from March through October from 6pm to Midnight.

 Attractions:
  • The Green Gate Jazz Garden at Green Gate Village features Jazz musicians the first hour and high quality bands the remainder of the night, dancing, beer and wine. $5 cover charge.
  • The Tabernacle Street Vendor Village featuring over 50 arts and crafts vendors and retail merchants, Stop by and get First Friday discounts! 6-9pm
  • Food Truck Village:  Featuring food trucks and more! 6-10pm
  • Other fun activities all night long!
