Canyons & Ice: The Last Run of Dick Griffith

Andy Trimlett, Producer/Director – Kaylene Johnson-Sullivan, Co-Producer

At 89 years old, he is planning one last rafting run through the Grand Canyon.  Dick Griffith has spent more years running Grand Canyon than any individual alive, and was the first to run the infamous Lava Falls in an inflatable raft.  He has survived starvation, drowning, bears, foxes, blinding storms and frostbites as he has single handedly accomplished previously untried expeditions throughout his life.  Hear his stories….both hilarious and terrifying…and witness his daring attempt to row through the Canyon’s most infamous rapid.

“There is a struggle within me….a choice between living life to its fullest and trying to live it the longest”

—Dick Griffith

“Dick was more than just an inspiration…For a bunch of us, he redirected our lives.”

—Roman Dial, Adventurer
