Utah & Idaho Sugar Beet Company offices in St. George. Formerly known as the Opera House and then after the U&I offices closed, it became the Opera House again.
About the Presenter:
St. George native Loren Webb will speak on the Utah & Idaho Sugar Beet Company and its legacy of producing sugar from sugar beets, with particular emphasis on the beet seed processing plant in St. George which came to produce seed for the company’s operations throughout the West.
