K.A.R.M.A. Fest

 The Kayenta Acoustic Roots Music Festival (KARMA Fest) is a great opportunity to come, hang out, and listen to some very musical ideas on how to pay down all that bad karma! Six live acoustic musical acts will play on both the outdoor and indoor stages. Tents will sell food and other wares, and there will even be a dinner break. Bring the whole family, and enjoy the nicer weather!
Tickets available for $20 now and $30 after September 20th!

Lacey & Drew have worked and shared the stage with #1 recording
artists John Rich, Randy Houser, Cowboy Troy & Jodee Messina, LeAnn
Rimes, Big & Rich, Ryan Shupe, and many more. Having toured
extensively throughout the United States and in Europe, Lacy & Drew
often include guest performers dubbed “The Crew”.

BANDS

McLaughlin & Brashear: The
Canyoneers perform original songs inspired by western landscapes, history and wild
rivers. Peter and Chris, multi-instrument virtuosos, will be performing songs on
acoustic guitar, mandolin, and fiddle, from their latest release, in collaboration
with The Museum of Northern Arizona “The Colton House Recordings: Music Inspired From Southwestern History
and The Colorado Plateau.”

The Jon Stone Desert Duo features Jon the String Master on Guitar, Mandolin, and Fiddle,
and Byron is Purveyor of Percussion on Spoons, Suitcases, and the Musical
Saw. With super strong and emotional vocals mix with Appalachian, Cajun, Mountain Americana, Folk Jazz, Gypsy, and Old Time. Inspired by residing in Kanab, Jon And Byron put on an inspirational
show like street performers from a by-gone era.

The Lindsey Short Band is Lindsey Short, Zach Short, and Thales Smith, a music
prodigy at age 4, is a multi-instrumentalist, on Guitar, Fiddle and Banjo.
Thales and Zach are highly skilled and accomplished musicians and provide the backing
instrumentals to Lindsey’s vocal and musical talent. LSB range from
Bluegrass to Swing, and puts their own spin on popular old time tunes.

The Washburn Family Band, Carrying on their musical family traditions,
members learned how to play their instruments, and sing their songs
from their Father Paul, who passed on the Bluegrass music that was
taught to him at an early age. The Washburns are an amazingly
talented musical family who have a love for the music they play, and a
joy for how they play it.
